Hi, I am Coach Rob Gray — Your Guide To Building The Right Pickleball Foundation

I’m a National Championship Gold Medalist, a PPR Pro Certified Pickleball Coach,  and a competitive player with a 4.7 DUPR rating.

I’ve spent six years coaching players across every skill level in Minnesota, and I’ve dedicated my career to one mission: helping players in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond build the solid, correct foundation that creates real, lasting improvement.

I know firsthand that resilience and community matter as much as technique. I went through kidney failure, and pickleball gave me a home when I needed one most. That experience is woven into how I coach, with patience, genuine care, and a deep understanding of what it means to show up and keep improving regardless of where you’re starting from.

My Credentials:

PPR Pro Certified — the highest level of PPR certification

4.7 DUPR rating — senior-professional competitive level

National Championship Gold Medalist — Legacy National Championships, Arizona, January 2022

8 years of competitive pickleball experience

6 years of professional pickleball coaching experience

Currently leads a 4.5 competitive group and a 3.5 coached league in Minnesota

Coaches all levels — beginner through 4.5+

My approach: My philosophy for this camp is simple: Repetition = Confidence.

You don’t build confidence by watching someone demonstrate a shot. You build it by doing that shot correctly, hundreds of times, until your body knows exactly what to do before your brain catches up.

I understand how your body actually learns new movements, and how to make that process faster. I know which mechanics matter most at the 2.5–3.0 level, which mistakes are holding players back, and exactly how to correct them in a way that sticks after you leave the court.

My sessions are calm, structured, and always built around what you personally need. You won’t be rushed. You won’t be overwhelmed. You’ll just get better, one purposeful rep at a time.

Whether you want to improve your fitness, develop your skills, compete in tournaments, improve your DUPR, or simply have more fun on the court… we’ll help you play with confidence and consistency while preventing injuries.

Players who train with us experience complete game transformations.

They win through intelligent positioning and shot selection, not exhausting power.

They understand the mental game.

They play multiple times a week with energy.

They build lasting friendships while leveling up their game.

WHY I'M OBSESSED WITH DRILLING (AND WHY YOU WILL BE TOO)

Most advanced beginner camps overwhelm you with too much too fast.

I’m different.

Here’s my philosophy: Repetition = Confidence

You don’t learn pickleball by watching demonstrations. You learn by actually doing it, repeatedly, with correct form, with a National Champion watching every rep, and building the kind of muscle memory that holds up in real games.

And here’s the truth about why I’m obsessed with foundation-first drilling:

Because let’s be honest, we all love that moment when we try something new, and it actually WORKS, don’t we?

That moment when your dink lands softly in the kitchen, every time.

That rush when your serve goes in deep and consistently.

That feeling when you rally back and forth with real control.

You don’t have to wait weeks to see progress. You see it immediately. Right there on the court.

That’s why purposeful drilling is the heartbeat of my advanced beginner camps. Not because I think it’s good for you (though it is), but because it’s incredibly satisfying to watch someone go from “I can’t do this” to “I just did that!” in a single morning.

Player Stories

See why 98% of our campers recommend this camp.

REMEMBER THE LAST TIME YOU WALKED OFF THE COURT FRUSTRATED?

You know that moment when you see people playing pickleball and think…

…“I can’t reach that level”?

…“I’m not athletic enough”?

…“Everyone else can rally better than me”?

That feeling ends on July 27th.

Because by the time you walk off the court at noon, you’ll know exactly what you need to do to get to 3.0. You’ll have drilled the right fundamentals the right way. And you’ll have a coach, a community, and a clear roadmap to get there.

IMAGINE THIS: It's Wednesday, July 29th (Two Days After Camp)

You show up to your regular open play session.

As soon as you start warming up, something feels different.

Your serve is going in. Your dinks are landing soft. You’re getting to the kitchen.

The players around you notice. Someone asks if you’ve been taking lessons. You tell them you went to a camp and watched everything click in a single morning.

By the end of the session, they’re asking where they can sign up.

That’s the difference between who you are right now and who you’ll be after the camp.

And it all starts the moment you register.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY WALK AWAY WITH (The Real Outcomes)

You'll Have the Fundamentals That Take You to 3.0

I’ll teach you the specific skills, serving, returning, dinking, volleying, and positioning that define the 3.0 player. Not just the theory. The actual reps, the correct form, the muscle memory that holds up in real games.

You'll Meet Your New Playing Crew (And Stay Connected For Life)

I’ll connect you with other passionate players at your exact skill level. You’ll exchange numbers, join the Obsessed Pickleballers Community together, and stay permanently connected with everyone you meet.

You'll Have Confidence to Play Anywhere

I’ll eliminate the fear that’s been keeping you on the sidelines. Not sure about the rules? You’ll know them. Worried about looking foolish? You’ll have practiced hundreds of shots. Intimidated by the scoring? You’ll be calling it out confidently.

You'll Understand Your Path to 3.0 and Beyond

I’ll show you exactly what to practice and how to improve after camp. You won’t be wandering; you’ll have a clear roadmap from beginner to intermediate and beyond.

Most beginners spend months or years developing bad habits. You’ll learn the right way from day one, setting yourself up for rapid improvement.

You'll Fall in Love with This Game All Over Again

I’ll show you how much fun pickleball becomes when you actually know what you’re doing. You’ll leave energized, excited, and already planning your next session.

On July 27th, the game clicks.

Because when your fundamentals are right, and your confidence is real, that’s when pickleball becomes everything it promised to be.
